Known only from the type locality, the Tozen river in Shin-Chu County and the nearby Holong River in Miao-Li County in western Taiwan (Ref. 57944). Presently not encountered in Tozen River despite intensive investigations and surveys conducted in the past 15 years (Ref. 57944). Also Ref. 33792. |
